Course description
This course focuses on principles of curriculum, assessment, and programming for gifted learners. We''ll examine the characteristics of quality curriculum for gifted learners, consider various curriculum models, and research program evaluation tools.
Course Goals
Participants in this course will increase knowledge and develop skillsto:
- Identify appropriate curriculum for gifted learners.
- Understand the value of a written gifted curriculum''s scope and sequence.
- Know how to plan gifted programs.
- Identify and describe various gifted curriculum models.
