The induction cohort is designed to improve the retention of new special education teachers through high-quality mentoring, professional learning and practical application opportunities.

Objectives:

· Increase innovation in teaching the high leverage practices (HLPs) using mixed-reality simulation labs.

· Increase coaching and immediate performance feedback for new special education teachers.

 Meetings will be held in person 1-3pm at NE RESA on the following dates:

Practical application with a mixed-reality avatar lab will take place remotely from 1-3pm on the following dates (teachers will log in from their school site):

 Participants must be able to attend both in person and remote sessions.
