Course Syllabus

 

Note: This class is a requirement for the Northeast Georgia RESA - GaTAPP participants.

Notice: NEGA RESA Member Systems receive first priority for class availability. 

Required course for Georgia certification. Assists teachers in understanding legal issues involving IDEA and Section 504. Teachers will learn characteristics of and strategies for teaching students with disabilities. 

Please note:  It is the participant's responsibilty to submit the transcript to the GaPSC. Transcripts can be downloaded through participant's NEGA RESA profile account.  Transcripts are usually available within 2-3 weeks after the course is completed  and after survey and all grades are received. 

Cancellations

Cancellations must be submitted 24 hrs. prior to the class for a full refund.  Failure to attend will not result in a refund.

"NO SHOWS

Failure to cancel registration will result in a "NO SHOW" fee of $10 for those participants who do not attend and do not notify RESA in advance they will not participant in the workshop.
