Investigating Essential Instructional Guidance for Georgia’s K-12 Mathematics Standards is a two-day professional learning opportunity for K-12 teachers from the Northeast Georgia RESA region.  Its purpose is to provide deeper explorations and understandings of the guiding principles of innovative teaching and learning with the 2023-2024 implementation of the newly revised K-12 Mathematics Standards.  All participants will meet collaboratively as well as in grade-bands and will focus on providing instructional experiences built upon the Mathematical Practices, the Effective Teaching Practices, Mathematical Modeling, and the Statistical Reasoning Framework as included in the Essential Instructional Guidance for these revised standards and as endorsed by the Georgia Department of Education Mathematics Program Team.
