Geometry: Concepts and Connections STATISTICS Workday will provide the opportunity for high school mathematics teachers to delve deeply into the data and statistics standards for Geometry: Concepts and Connections as well as to work through exemplary tasks appropriate for classroom use. This course will be implemented for the first time in the 2023-2024 school year. Chris Franklin, the K-12 Statistics Ambassador for the American Statistical Association and Statistics Professor Emeritus for the University of Georgia, and Kaycie Maddox, the Director of 6-12 Mathematics for Northeast Georgia RESA will lead this professional learning time. Both Ms. Franklin and Ms. Maddox played integral roles in the revision of the mathematics standards for data and statistics.
