Course Description More Details
This workshop helps teachers (grades 4-12) learn how to help their students play the Stock Market Game and, more importantly, learn from the stock market. In the 10-week web-based stock trading simulation, students apply research and math skills, practice group decision making and analyze cause-and-effect relationships.
Teachers will leave the workshop with ready-to-go lessons and materials to help teach the Stock Market Game and as well as other personal finance concepts.
Participants in this workshop are expected to play the game fall semester, which begins September 25th.
Participants are encouraged to bring laptops.
Substitute reimbursement is available, and lunch is provided.
