Course Description More Details
The Georgia Numeracy Project is a free numeracy development resource provided by the Georgia Department of Education, which introduces teachers and teacher leaders to the trajectory by which learners acquire a solid foundation in numeracy. The Georgia Numeracy Project is focused on developing students' understanding of numbers, and their ability to use numbers to solve problems.
Participants will:
- Become familiar with the Georgia Numeracy Project.
- Understand numeracy progression and strategy stages.
- Learn how to administer GloSS and IKAN assessments.
- Become equipped with progress monitoring tools and intervention resources to support the students' numeracy development.
